Albrook Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport (IATA: PAC, ICAO: MPMG) is a public airport located 1.5 kilometers (0.93 mi; 0.81 mi) west of the center of Panama City, Panama. It is the main hub for domestic flights within Panama and also serves some international flights to neighboring countries such as Colombia and Costa Rica.
The airport was originally built as Albrook Air Force Station by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. After the war, the base was transferred to the Panamanian government and became Albrook International Airport. In 1999, the airport was moved to its current location at the former Albrook Air Force Base, and the name was changed to honor Panamanian aviator Marcos A. Gelabert.
