Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (IGR) is an international airport located in Misiones Province, Argentina, serving the city of Puerto Iguazú and providing access to the nearby Iguazú Falls. It is the easternmost Argentine airport served by scheduled flights. The airport is named after Mayor Carlos Eduardo Krause, who was instrumental in the development of the region.
The airport covers an area of 1,804 hectares (4,460 acres) and is operated by Aeropuertos Argentina 2000. The terminal building has a total area of 30,000 square meters (323,000 square feet) and can accommodate up to 1.5 million passengers per year. The airport has two runways, each 2,100 meters (6,900 feet) long and 40 meters (130 feet) wide.
