Douglas-Charles Airport, also known as Melville Hall Airport, is the main international airport in Dominica. It is located on the northeast coast of the island, approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest of the town of Marigot. The airport is named after two prominent Dominican politicians: Eugenia Charles, the first female Prime Minister of Dominica, and Pearle Christian Douglas, the first Chief Minister of Dominica.
