Perales Airport is a public airport located in the city of Ibagué in the Tolima Department of Colombia. It is the main airport in the department and serves as a hub for Avianca Express and EasyFly. The airport is located 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) east of the city center and has a single runway that is 2,000 meters (6,562 ft) long.
The airport was inaugurated in 1947 and was originally named “Aeropuerto Municipal de Ibagué” (Ibagué Municipal Airport). In 1968, the airport was renamed “Aeropuerto Nacional Perales” (Perales National Airport) in honor of General José María Córdova, who was born in Ibagué.
